New Delhi. We may not remember why today is special but Google remembers. Google explains why this day is special through its doodle. In this regard, Google on Monday created a doodle on the occasion of the 104th birthday of Indian cell biologist Dr. Kamal Ranadev. This doodle is dedicated to them. Ranadio is known for creating a society where everyone is equal through cancer research and science and education.

This doodle, created by an Indian artist Ibrahim Rantakath, shows Ranadeo looking through a microscope. Kamal Ranadev was born in 1917 in Pune. Her father inspired her to study medicine, but she wanted to study biology. In 1949, he received a doctorate in cytology, the study of cells, while working as a researcher at the Indian Cancer Research Center (ICRC). Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. She then returned to Mumbai. At the ICRC, it established the country’s first tissue culture laboratory.

As Director of ICRC and Cancer Development of Animal Development, Ranadeo was one of the first researchers in India. He suggested that there was a link between breast cancer and heredity. Explain that Ranadio did a study on Mycobacterium leprae. These are the bacteria that cause leprosy. They also helped develop a vaccine for it. In 1973, Dr. Ranadev and 11 colleagues founded the Indian Association of Women Scientists (IWSA) to help women in the scientific field.
